C-Bonus "Outlandish Interruption"
The mission "C-Bonus: Outlandish Interruption" is the bonus mission in the Old Clockworks. Like the other bonus missions, it can only be unlocked by collecting all the Boos in the respective mansion. The bonus missions have Luigi going around the mansion to capture ghosts using the Poltergust 5000, very similarly to mission E-5 "Paranormal Chaos". Although they do not have a time limit, Luigi still should be fast, since his score is determined by his time.
This mission does not have any Boos.

Mission Blurb[edit | edit source]
"We've got a complication. There are paranormal signals in the Old Clockworks again! It's ghost-hunting time, sonny!"
Starting Dialogue[edit | edit source]
"Hey, young feller. The Parascope has discovered some more paranormal signals. You know the drill: capture the ghosts as quickly as possible. I'm sorry to say - the signals this time around are even stronger than last time. Be careful, Luigi. Just like before, I'll guide you toward the ghosts. All right, I'll pixelate you on the count of three. Ready? Three!"
Mission Goals[edit | edit source]
Overall Goal[edit | edit source]
- Ghosts are back in the Old Clockworks! Capture all the ghosts as soon as possible.
Other Goals[edit | edit source]
- Capture all the ghosts as soon as possible!
Story[edit | edit source]
Since the rooms with ghosts are randomized, Luigi should simply follow where E. Gadd marks ghosts on the map. Be careful of Greenies equipped with weapons. Sneakers, Hiders, and Slammers shouldn't be a big threat. Sometimes there may be a Poltergeist in the Roundhouse. After capturing all the ghosts, E. Gadd will call to say: "That'll do, Luigi! I think that was the last one! Come on back now." And the mission ends to show Luigi how well he did.
After Mission Dialogue[edit | edit source]
"Welcome home, Luigi! Let's unload all those hooligans."
"Good thing we nipped that in the bud. It's mind boggling how quickly ghosts can take a place over! That's the world of paranormal research for you - one minute you're having fun learning about ghosts...and the next minute you're running for your life, scurrying about like a headless chicken! I hope we never get to that point!"
"Ho ho! What am I saying? You're always at that point!"
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The music on the bonus missions is a remixed version of the Library piano, when the Poltergeist is playing, fit to set the theme of the mansion. In this case it uses the organ and harpsichord that the main theme of the Old Clockworks uses.
- All bonus missions are named like this: (Adjective) + Word that starts with "I".
